Many of our rafting guests use Calgary Alberta as a hub for their travel in Alberta and B.C.  Heading west from Calgary, you will eventually reach Canmore, Banff then into beautiful British Columbia, home to Radium Hot Springs, Panorama, Golden, and if you go far enough - the Pacific Ocean.

Summers in Calgary are full of tours, museums and festivals. Bring your cowboy spirit and head to the World Famous Calgary Stampede. Show your support for the CFL and watch some good old football games. While you’re near downtown, stroll Calgary’s “it” locations: 17th ave for some trendy shops and pubs, Marda Loop or Stephens Ave. If you’re in the mood to challenge your mind, head over to the Telus Science Center - we suggest the g-force bicycle! The Calgary Zoo is great for families, COP - Calgary Olympic Park is the place to test your inner Olympian at the Skeleton Test track, zip lining, or mountain biking (go for gold!). Since the secret of how amazing the trout fishing is already out - remember to bring your fishing rod and head to the Bow River for some action!

Transport to the mountains can be achieved by renting a vehicle. If you are heading directly from the Calgary Airport to the west, jump on the “Banff Airporter”. If you are feeling lost while in the air port - find someone wearing a white cowboy hat for help!
