From Banff:
Distance: 115 km. Allow 1.5 hrs each way
- Drive west on TransCanada Highway 1
- From Lake Louise you will pass by the town of Field on your left (approx. 15 - 20 minutes & 26km or 16mi).
- Approximately 20 - 25 minutes further on from Field (about 28km or 17mi), on your left, you will pass the Yoho National Park entry gates for eastbound traffic marked by 3 flags and a small wooden kiosk.
- Look for large billboards on the left hand side of the highway and blue and white highway signs on your right. You'll exit the highway by turning right and looping back through a tunnel under the highway.
- Look for the Kootenay River Runners sign.
- Cross over the railroad tracks and the bridge.
- Turn right on to Kicking Horse Road ( first right after the bridge)
- Drive approximately 1 Km to the Kootenay River Runners Basecamp on your right.
- Welcome to Kootenay River Runners!

From Radium Hot Springs:
Distance: 134 km. Allow 1.5 hrs each way
- Drive north on Hwy #95 to Golden (108 km). Follow signs that lead you through Golden to Hwy #1. Turn right on Hwy #1 (towards Lake Louise), drive 24 km and look for blue and white sign on right: TOURS: KOOTENAY RVR RUNNERS and BEAVERFOOT LODGE. Also look for the Highway Sign: Beaverfoot Road. There's highway construction in the area, and another sign to look for is Banff ATV and Zip Line Tours. Turn right immediately after these signs on to Beaverfoot Road. Follow Beaverfoot Road across the  train tracks then cross the river. Take first right into Kicking Horse Road. Drive 1 km to the Kootenay River Runners KICKING HORSE BASE CAMP on your right.

From Banff:
Distance: 115 km. Allow 1.5 hrs each way
Drive west on Hwy #1 until Hwy 93 south, at Castle Junction. Drive south to Radium Hot Springs 105km. Drive past hot pools, through Sinclair Canyon and into the village of Radium. Look for the Kootenay River Runners office on the right side of road. The office is approx 3.5 km past the Radium Hot Pools. Look for a 36ft Canoe! If you have reached the 4-way stop in Radium, you have gone about 1km too far.

From Invermere:
Distance: 20 km. Allow 25 mins each way
Drive north on Hwy #93/95 to Radium Hot Springs. Follow signs that lead you to Kootenay National Pk (Hwy93). Kootenay River Runners will be on the left side of the road about 1km east of the 93/95 Junc.

From Banff:
Distance: 150 km. Allow 2.5 hrs each way
Drive west on Hwy #1 until Hwy 93 south, at Castle Junction. Drive south to Radium Hot Springs 105km. Drive past hot pools, through Sinclair Canyon and into the village of Radium. Follow Hwy 93/95 South to Invermere. (15km). Turn right at Tim Hortons and head down into Invermere. Turn Right at PANORAMA MOUNTAIN VILLAGE sign. This will be immediately following the train overpass. Follow Toby Creek Rd for approx 15km up to Panorama. Drive past the main entrance to Panorama and take the first left after main entrance. Look for the Panorama Adventure Center (Tennis Courts & mini golf) on the left. The Toby Creek white water rafting meeting place is located at the Adventure Center.

From Invermere:
Distance: 20 km. Allow 35 mins each way
Turn left at PANORAMA MOUNTAIN VILLAGE sign. This will be immediately following the train overpass. Follow Toby Creek Rd for approximately 15km up to Panorama. Pass main entrance to Panorama and take the first left after the LARGE PANORAMA MOUNTAIN VILLAGE SIGN. Look for the Panorama Adventure Center (Tennis Courts & mini golf) on the left. The Toby Creek white water rafting meeting place is located at the Adventure Center.

From Fairmont Hot Springs:
Distance: 43 km. Allow 45 mins each way
Drive north on hwy 93/95 for 23km. Turn Left at Tim Horton's. Drive 2km and turn right at PANORAMA MOUNTAIN VILLAGE sign. This will be immediatley following the train overpass. Follow Toby Creek Rd for approx 15km up to Panorama. Pass main entrance to Panorama and take the First left after the LARGE PANORAMA MOUNTAIN VILLAGE SIGN. Look for the Panoama Adventure Center (Tennis Courts & mini golf) on the left. The Toby Creek white water rafting meeting place is located at the Adventure Center.
