Enjoy the stories of this fascinating time in Canada’s history, and be in " the right place at the right time" for viewing the abundant wildlife of the Columbia River Wetlands. The Columbia Wetlands are the longest intact wetlands in North America and part of the Pacific Flyway critical to migrating birds. At 180km in length, these wetlands are designated as a Ramsar Wetland of international importance. Some of the wild life regularly seen include; bald eagles, ospreys, painted turtles, great blue herons, beaver, river otter, elk, bighorn sheep and deer. The stability of our 34 ft Voyageur Canoes make this trip perfect for guests of all ages and abilities.
